Sometimes you may find a roll of seamless without a rigid cardboard core, or you may want to use fabric that has no core. This Aluminum core fastens together quickly to make a solid core for use with your Background Paper Drive Set (KG084411) or as a regular crossbar with a couple of Convi Clamps and "J" Hooks.
The Background Paper Drive Set is a pair of adapters that expand and lock securely inside the core of a roll of seamless paper. One adapter has a plastic cog that accepts a plastic drive chain so that you can adjust the length of your background comfortably and a tension control so the background doesn't unroll by itself due to gravity.
This adapter allows you to use your Kupoles with drop ceilings. The adapter will clip on to the metal grid that supports the ceiling tiles and the other side presses into the top of the Kupole to secure it in place.

Just remove the top pad, add the extension to the top section, replace the top pad and you now can reach new heights with your Kupoles. They also make excellent crossbars for backgrounds. For black Kupoles, this extension is 4.9' (1.5m) in length.
