Quality of Light [Regular 1:8 ratio w/ no background light source ]

I chose to do the 1:8 ratio photograph, because the 1:2 didn't look at good as the lighting on the 1:8 photo. The background is pretty dark, but I think it looks good that way, This image is special to me because it represents my sister, she was a dancer her whole life, but then didn't make it to her dream to be a professional dancer, she wasn't as good as they wanted her to be. So she changed her degree and still takes dance classes and will continue to do that for her entire life, because she simply cant live without dancing.
